Heather Anyon,   Director

Heather and her husband originally moved to Florida in April of 2015, by October they had bought their own home and began fostering for Hillsborough County’s pet resource center. Shortly after she joined another rescue and gained a lot of knowledge over the last couple of years. She spends her free time taking pictures at the shelter in hopes of helping dogs be seen by good adopters. She has 4 dogs, Oliver, Charley, Cole, & Willow, and two cats, Patches and Rex. Between the end of 2015 and end of 2018 Heather fostered close to 30 dogs.

Nia Amtmann, Director

Nia first got started volunteering at the shelter back in 2014 where she committed her weekends to walking dogs under investigation, giving love to dogs who may have never had anyone to give them positive attention before. Now you can and Nia at the shelter most Sunday afternoons. Nia has two dogs that she has adopted over the years, Tucker, a 70lb cur mix, and Jax a 4 year old pittie mix who came to the shelter with a bad case of demodex.
